The purpose of this website is to try
and help you enjoy Scottish Malt Whisky, I will endeavour to give as much
information as I can on new Malt's and of course rare old Malt's I have
had the pleasure of tasting Malt Whisky for about Twenty Years now, I am
not a professional taster and you will find that I give my
opinion in simple terms, I will try and give you the best information that
I can
in words that are easy to understand, I have found that
most Whisky books tend to complicate when describing the smell (Nose) and
flavour.

I will try and give you as much information as I can about
Single Malt Whisky from the best producers of the “Water of
Life” in the world.
I was introduced to malt Whisky about 20 years ago and I
must admit I was not sure if it was for me.
Now we enter the 21st year of my Malt Whisky journey and
it has been one of the best adventures of my life.
I can tell you now if Malt Whisky is new to you, keep tasting
and try and taste as many malts from different regions as you
can, believe me you have hundreds to choose from and they are
all very different.
Most Island Malts are Peaty and Smokey, some with very long
lasting tastes , some with sweet honey flavours with fruit or
sea air, the exploration is to try.
I have found that in England there are very few Malts to choose
from, if you find something interesting on this website that you
would like to try links to Distilleries are provided to help you
find what you are looking for.
